CaseLens · Case Intelligence

Ask the record. Get the exact line, cited — or an honest silence.

CaseLens turns a case file — instruments, returns, emails, exhibits — into a sealed, answerable record on your own machine. Ask in plain language; every answer is a verbatim quote carrying its file, its exact place in the record, and an integrity hash. When the record is silent, it says “Not in the record.” — and that is a feature, not a failure.

The one rule the whole instrument obeys

CaseLens never answers in its own words. Text generation is out of the answer path: no model authors a word of any displayed answer. A local model may only route a question to sealed passages and decline ones that don’t answer it — it can make the instrument quieter, never chattier. What you read is the record itself.

Sealed, and it proves it

Loading a case fingerprints every span of every document into a sealed receipt, anchored to the Knox audit chain. At every launch the app re-proves the case matches its seal — and refuses to show a single line from a corpus that has drifted. A citation you read is a citation that verified.

The evidence table

The whole case renders as a 3D field — chronology across, issue and source-type as lanes — with a guided Story Mode that walks the case narrative stop by stop, each stop opening the same sealed, cited card. Contradiction markers render only from humanly-recorded, sourced pairs — never inferred. Every fact the 3D shows is equally reachable in plain 2D.

Private by construction

Local models, local index, loopback-only serving. No cloud call, no telemetry, no external request of any kind — airplane mode is a supported configuration. The installable shell ships empty: your case is loaded, sealed, and served on your own machine, and never leaves it.

Measured, not promised

CaseLens ships with an anti-fabrication evaluation harness: golden questions with pinned verbatim answers, adversarial trap questions whose only true answer is “not in the record”, a coverage gate, and a discrimination self-test in which seeded lies — a tampered figure, a wrong page, a disabled gate, a tampered seal — must each flip the suite red. Zero fabricated answers is the ship gate. A red suite stops the release.

What it does — and doesn’t

It does

Retrieve, quote, and cite your own record — verbatim, with its exact location and hash. Walk the case as a sourced story. Say “Not in the record.” when that is the truth. Prove, on every launch, that what it shows matches what was sealed.

It doesn’t

Write summaries or arguments, draw legal conclusions, compute an answer no source states, or show anything from an unsealed or drifted corpus. What the record means for your matter is a question for a licensed attorney — CaseLens hands you what the record says.

Who it’s for

Anyone who has to answer questions from a large case file without misquoting it: a party preparing for the first hour with counsel, a firm that wants the record — not a model’s paraphrase of it — on the table in a meeting, a fiduciary assembling what the instruments actually say. It pairs with the forensics side of TrustAI: the platform reconstructs what happened; CaseLens keeps every stated fact pinned to its source.

TL;DR

CaseLens is an offline, sealed, cite-or-abstain question surface plus a 3D evidence table over your case file. Verbatim quote + citation + integrity hash, or an honest “Not in the record.” No cloud, no telemetry; the shell ships empty and your case never leaves your machine. Anti-fabrication is measured by a harness whose ship gate is zero fabricated answers. Published 2026-07-24.
